Soft case for your AirPods: strong and flexible
The back printed soft cases are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a mix between plastic and silicone. TPU is a very flexible yet strong material which cannot break.
How does the printing system work?
The back printed soft cases are printed with a UV printer. Unlike transfer printing, the UV-printer prints directly on the product. Therefore this is a fast and flexible technique. Because it is a digital print system, we are able to print up to 35 different AirPod cases and designs in one batch! The print head slides directly over the case and prints the designs in high resolution on the product. The UV-lamps next to the print head are directly drying the inks.
To ensure the best quality we only use the high end Roland LEF-200 print system. These are the best printers available at the moment. Our systems are equipped with CMYK and white inks. The white ink is used as a base layer. Underneath every colored pixel we print a white pixel helping your colours come to life and ensuring powerful realistic photo prints.
