Due to the weather conditions in the west and south of the country, we were unable to deliver in some areas (Lesachtal, East Tyrol, Gailtal and various side valleys in Tyrol), which will lead to delays. Relaxation in these areas is expected 1-2 days after the snowfall has ended. We are dependent on approval by the authorities here.
If possible, address parcels directly to the recipient or make sure the recipient of your shipment is open before submitting the shipment to DPD. The following zipcodes are open, but with possible delays: 6441, 6450 6456, 6184, 6183, 6181, 6167 and 6500. In the south of Austria there are closed roads due to heavy snowfall. This can cause delays at the following zipcodes: 0626, 0627, 0629, 0630 and 0632.All non-essential shops are closed.

Due to the corona measures decided by the federal and state governments, not all Hermes Parcel Shops are currently open. Since a large part of the more than 16,000 Parcel Shops nationwide are integrated in facilities for daily needs, over 75 percent of the Parcel Shops will also be available during the lockdown.

Due to the current rise in parcel volumes and more stringent COVID safety measures, the delivery of shipments may be subject to delays in certain cases. We ask for your understanding in such instances.

The ecommerce parcels volume has increased significantly since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. Since the new measures and the closing of most retail outlets in Ireland, we are experiencing an earlier than usual start of the peak season. The delays can be up to 14 working days.

Please be aware that the Netherlands is in lockdown until the 2nd of March 2021. All non-essential shops are closed. Parcelshops from DHL and PostNL also have been shut down.
Due to the weather PostNL and DHL didn’t pick up all the parcels. They have a backlog with processing parcels from last Monday and Tuesday.
Due to the lockdown, a limited number of DHL Service Points are closed. Is a parcel in a closed location? Then it will be returned to the sender. They will try to deliver a parcel on its way to a closed location at another pick-up point. Is that not possible? Then it will be returned. Check the opening hours before you visit one of the DHL locations.
